By fundraising for Red Cross you'll help people in need both here in Australia and around the world, and you'll have fun while you're doing it.
So whether you are an individual fundraising on your own, or in a community group, school, workplace or club, get involved and make a difference. It's easy!
We've created a Fundraising Guide to help you get started and give you some ideas on what your activity could be, but if there's nothing on the list you fancy then get creative, let your imagination run wild and come up with your own activity. It can be as simple as a morning tea at work or as complex as a street party - it's up to you!
Get started
The first step to fundraise for Red Cross is to download our Fundraising Guide. Not only is it full of useful tips and ideas to ensure your activity is a success, it also includes a Fundraising Activity Registration Form which you'll need to complete and return to us.
Once you're registered, we'll send you written confirmation and issue you with an Authority to Fundraise. We'll also be there to give you lots of advice and support throughout your fundraising journey.
Fundraise for us online
To make fundraising for your activity as easy as possible, create a page on our fundraising website and give all your supporters a quick and secure way to donate online. Here's how:
1 Go to our fundraising website.
2 Follow the simple instructions to set up your personalised fundraising page. You can specify a fundraising goal, upload an image, and even include a message on why you are supporting Red Cross.
3 Email the link to your fundraising page to your family, friends and colleagues and encourage them to sponsor you.
4 Each donation is recorded on your page along with any message of support from your sponsors. They will automatically be issued with tax-deductible receipts and the funds transferred to Red Cross.
You don't need to submit a Fundraising Activity Registration Form if you are solely raising funds via our online facility.
