The Red Cross Red Crescent Movement is the world's largest and most respected humanitarian organisation.

By becoming a member of Australian Red Cross, you have the opportunity to:

  • Make a commitment to the Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
  • Contribute to the humanitarian efforts of Australian Red Cross at home and abroad.
  • Receive the latest information and progress reports on Red Cross programs.
  • Play an active part in the continued growth and future development of the organisation which has given unparalleled support to Australians in need since 1914.

To become a member

Membership categories are outlined below. To become a member, simply complete the membership form (downloadable below) and send it to the PO Box on the form, or contact your local Red Cross office. (ACT residents please send your form to PO Box 610, Mawson, ACT 2607).

All Australian Red Cross memberships are renewable yearly and include GST.

Contributing Member - $20

 
Distinctive Red Cross badge and membership card.

Invitations to the Annual Member's conference or Annual General Meeting.

 

Geneva Supporter - $50
($20 membership fee and $30 tax deductible donation)
 
 
Includes all contributing member benefits, plus a distinctive certificate of appreciation acknowledging you as a Geneva supporter.

 

Solferino Supporter - $100
($20 membership fee and $80 tax deductible donation)
 
 
Includes all Geneva supporter benefits, plus regular copies of the Red Cross Red Crescent magazine produced by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

 

Henry Dunant Supporter - $500
($20 membership fee and $480 tax deductible donation)
 
Includes all contributing member benefits, plus a framed certificate of appreciation acknowledging you as a Henry Dunant supporter.
 
regular copies of the Red Cross Red Crescent magazine produced by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
 
Invitations to special Australian Red Cross functions and events.
 
An invitation to the National AGM .  
 
Acknowledgment in the Australian Red Cross Annual Report (optional).
