World-renowned jewellery brand Georg Jensen is continuing its partnership with Australian Red Cross to raise funds to help the most vulnerable people across Australia and Asia Pacific.
Scandinavian Luxury Lifestyle brand, Georg Jensen and Red Cross have collaborated once again to create a limited edition HEART bracelet for Red Cross that will be available in all Georg Jensen and participating David Jones stores. The new Red Cross HEART bracelet will retail for $150 and Georg Jensen will donate $50 for every bracelet sold to Australian Red Cross.
In 2010, Georg Jensen Australia's launch of the DAISY bracelet for Australian Red Cross marked the beginning of what was to become a global partnership. The success of the partnership with Australian Red Cross resulted in Georg Jensen stores across Europe and Asia following suit, and developing a limited edition piece to raise funds for their local Red Cross National Societies. Select Georg Jensen stores across Europe will also launch the limited edition HEART bracelet this season together with Georg Jensen Australia.
In addition to donating the proceeds from the HEART bracelet, Georg Jensen stores will be encouraging customers to dig deep and 'round up' their purchases this December and January (2011/2012) with all proceeds being donated directly to Red Cross.
Proceeds raised through the sale of the bracelet and during the Christmas round-up campaign will provide funding to a wide range of vital community services such as a daily phone call to an isolated elderly individual to provide friendship, support and make sure they are OK or to help save children's lives internationally by bringing clean, safe water for drinking, cooking and washing to remote communities.
The limited edition Georg Jensen HEART bracelet for Red Cross makes a unique Christmas gift while also helping those in need. For your nearest store call 1800 JENSEN or visit www.georgjensen.com/au/
