Breakfast and Nutrition Programs
As recently highlighted on Channel 7 News, Red Cross provides 800,000 breakfasts every year for kids who would otherwise go to school hungry. With almost 250 breakfast clubs around Australia, Red Cross works with volunteers and local communities to provide a healthy breakfast and information on nutrition to school kids in areas of greatest need.
Your donation will help Red Cross provide a daily breakfast to children who would otherwise go to school hungry.
The Good Start Breakfast Club is a community program run by Red Cross. It aims to create opportunities for primary school children in areas of greatest need to eat a healthy breakfast. The program also aims to deliver nutrition education programs to children, families and the community, helping them to make healthier food choices.
By donating to Australian Red Cross' breakfast & nutrition programs, you'll support our work in providing a healthy breakfast and nutrition education to school kids in areas of greatest need around Australia, helping them start their day well and concentrate better in the classroom.
