Red Cross and First National Foundation today launch Emergency REDiPlan: a community information program to help Australians prepare for and recover from emergencies.
Podcasts and information sheets are available to the public at www.redcross.org.au.
Topics covered include:
- Keeping in contact with family and friends in an emergency
- Recovering from flooding
- Managing stress
- Coping with memorial events
Additional emergency readiness information and resources will be progressively made available.
First National Foundation aims to raise $3 million over three years to support Emergency REDiPlan, in addition to helping Red Cross distribute emergency preparedness information to local communities across Australia.
Emergency REDiPlan is supported by First National Foundation, which aims to raise $3 million over three years to help better prepare Australians for emergencies.
Participating First National agents will also distribute information through their offices, to help reach people in their local areas.
