Australian Red Cross Ambassador

Kate Ritchie is one of Australia's best loved actresses, having spent 20 years as a lead on Home and Away, a role which earned her two Gold and three Silver Logies. Kate currently co-hosts the number one rating national drive show alongside Tim and Marty on Nova.

Previously she co-hosted the extremely popular breakfast radio show on Nova 969 with Merrick and Rosso throughout 2008 and 2009 and appeared on Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities. Kate has been the host and narrator of Don't Tell the Bride, she has starred alongside Shaun Micallef and Kat Stewart in the drama Mr & Mrs Murder and in Peter Helliar's project, It's A Date. She also loved the chance to make a guest appearance as Sally Fletcher when invited back to help celebrate the 25th anniversary of Home and Away.

Kate's dedication as an Ambassador has helped us raise much-needed funds across all our major giving programs. From inspiring people to make a regular monthly gift or leave a bequest to Red Cross in their will and supporting our disaster preparedness and recovery work, Kate's support has made a world of difference to those in need.

As a keen baker, Kate champions our Big Cake Bake fundraiser and also generously supports our chain of retail stores and the Young Parents Program, which helps young parents with minimal family or community support to get the best outcomes for their children.
