Red Cross provides 13 community care programs in the ACT. Most of these services are provided with the assistance of volunteers from the local community.
Client assessment
The Red Cross Client Assessment Unit is the central point of contact for referrals to any one or more of the community care services operated by Red Cross. New clients receive an assessment of their needs and eligibility and are then referred to the relevant Red Cross program.
Referring new clients
Other agencies, friends, family members and the clients themselves can make a referral to the Client Assessment Unit.
