First Aid, Health and Safety Services  
Red Cross has been providing first aid training in Australia since 1914. In the ACT, Red Cross teaches first aid to over 3,000 people every year.

First aid training is a major function of the Red Cross both in its character and under the first principle of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, humanity.

Red Cross is a registered training organisation offering accredited first aid training courses for the workplace, as well as a wide range of nationally endorsed courses targeted to groups or individuals with specific interests and requirements.

Training venues

Courses are conducted throughout the year in training rooms at Red Cross House, Garran. Courses are also held at other premises. Venues require a TV, video, whiteboard, overhead projector and floor space for practice.

First Aid kits

Red Cross also provides quality first aid kits including accredited workplace kits.
