Become a Volunteer

Volunteering is an activity that is freely chosen, is of benefit to the community, and is undertaken without financial reward. Red Cross enables people interested in helping those less fortunate to become involved in Red Cross voluntary work. Volunteering opportunities with the Red Cross are available within the following programs (click on the links to find out more about each program):

Book Shops and Hospital Kiosks
Community Visitors Scheme  
Delivered meals service (only in North and North West Tasmania)
Hospital Service

Patient Support Service
