Good Start Breakfast Club |
Good Start Breakfast Club (GSBC) is a new program for Tasmania but it is a part of a nation-wide Red Cross program which involves about one hundred schools. The GSBC works with schools and their local communities to help to address barriers to good morning nutrition. The program works with selected schools by recruiting and training volunteers and helping the school to source donations of food and drinks. It also works with the school to develop a broader whole-of-school approach to nutrition.
