For job seekers our services are free of charge are free and we will help you put together a resume and prepare for interview. A specialist Case Manager will be assigned to you to help you find the job. We can access training to enhance your job skills.

As one of the largest and most experienced disability employment organisations in Brisbane, Red Cross Employment Services has demonstrated over many years our commitment to assisting job jeekers with disabilities to achieve real employment outcomes.

At Red Cross Employment Services, we achieve success by working closely with employers and job seekers.

Working with employers

Red Cross Employment Services have demonstrated success in achieving employee longevity and productivity as valued outcomes for employers. We do this successfully by:

  • spending time with both the job aeeker and the employer to understand what they want in their working relationship
  • matching the right applicant to the right job
  • matching the right employee to the right employer
  • maintaining the same person as contact point as far as possible
  • assisting the employee with training options

Through a series of assessments and analyses, a case manager matches a job seeker's abilities and skills to those required in the job.  Once a job seeker is placed, a case manager offers a hands-on approach, supporting the job seeker at the workplace as they start. This allows them to identify any areas of preparation or training required, foster positive work attitudes through role modelling and assist with important areas of detail that aid the first few days of settling in.

For first time employers one phone call to 07 3367 7433 will result in a case manager being assigned to you immediately or contact your nearest office as listed above.

For repeat employers a direct line to a designated case manager is provided.

Working with job seekers

At Red Cross Employment Services, we have a team of qualified specialists who believe that we can make a positive difference in assisting job seekers to achieve the best possible employment outcome. Red Cross Employment Services have been successfully providing employment opportunities to job seekers for over 13 years.

We do his by:

  • understanding your needs
  • listening to your goals and aspirations
  • working together to develop a structured program which identifies your strengths and abilities and matches them to jobs
  • matching the right job seeker to the right job
  • where needed, providing regular on-the-job-support during your first weeks of work
  • where appropriate, assist you to access financial support for workplace modifications and other incentives

As a job seeker with Red Cross Employment Services, you will have access to training and work placements through the three pillars of Business Services, Training and Employment as well as through external providers. We also encourage and support job seekers considering traineeships and apprenticeships.

Our aim, where possible and in association with you, is to assist you to become independent at work.

At Red Cross, our Quality Strategy ensures that our employment services are underpinned by the 12 Disability Services Standards.
